Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting fine, solid needles into the body to relieve pain or to help restore function. It works by acting on the body's nervous system. It is most commonly used to treat pain but can also be helpful in wound healing and in some conditions where the body's normal function is disturbed.
Pain management clinic
Chronic pain is common in animals with arthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders. Treating chronic pain will improve your pet's mobility and quality of life. At the clinic your pet will be comprehensively assessed and a treatment plan implemented. This may include medication, acupuncture, physical therapy, environmental modification and diet.
Referral service
We provide a pain management referral service for local veterinary surgeons. This is available for management of pets with diagnosed painful conditions and also those where an assessment is required to determine if pain is present.
Please complete the referral form or contact Liz by phone or email to refer a patient.
